Lumia Studio · For trade & service businesses

Less copying. Less chasing.
More time for the business.

From enquiries and quotes to bookings, customer updates and paperwork, we design and build practical workflows around how your business works.

The first conversation is free. Any paid work is scoped and priced before you commit.

Start with something specific

Which part of the business needs less chasing?

Connect the tools you already use, automate a repeat task or build a custom tool. AI is one of the tools we can use.

Example workflow

From a new enquiry to a quote you can track.

  1. 1Capture the enquiry
  2. 2Prepare the quote
  3. 3Track the follow-up

What that might include

  • A place to collect enquiries and customer details
  • Quoting rules and documents that suit your business
  • A clear view of quotes, versions and next actions

An example of what we could build. The right process and connections are agreed around your business before work starts.

From process to handover

We build it with you.
Then get it into use.

A defined project, from understanding what happens today to a working tool your team can use.

01

Understand and scope

Look at the process, the people and the tools. Agree what is worth improving and what the first project covers.

02

Build and test

Configure, connect or build the agreed solution. Test it with the people who will use it.

03

Launch and hand over

Put it into use, show your team how it works, and agree what ongoing support is needed.

Built and in use

A business process.
Working software.

Live and in use

SolarTyle

Quoting, forecasting and a clearer view of the pipeline.

SolarTyle needed better control of pricing, quote revisions and its sales pipeline. John personally built its quoting and forecasting software.

In use

Used by SolarTyle's team, trade partners and customers. The roof configurator was delivered with a specialist partner and is also live.

More about the SolarTyle work

A clear starting point

One process.
An agreed project.

The first conversation is free. If the work is clear, we can put together a scoped proposal. If it needs more investigation, we can agree a focused paid discovery first.

Before any paid work

Know what you're getting. And what it costs.

  • The scope and deliverables
  • The fees and delivery timing
  • Handover and support arrangements

Start with a defined project. Any ongoing support is agreed separately.

A conversation with the person who builds

You'll work with John.

John founded LUMIA and personally built SolarTyle's quoting and forecasting software. We agree who is involved in your project, including any specialist partners, before work starts.

Before you get in touch.

What does it cost to get started?

The first 30-minute conversation is free. If the work is clear, we can put together a scoped proposal. If it needs more investigation, we can agree a focused paid discovery first. You see the deliverables, fees, timing and support arrangements before committing to any paid work.

Do we have to sign up to ongoing monthly support?

You can start with a defined project. Any ongoing support is discussed and agreed separately, based on what your business needs.

Can you work with the tools we already use?

We start by looking at what you have. The answer may be configuring an existing tool, connecting a few systems, or building something custom. We check the practical options and dependencies before agreeing the build.

Does it have to involve AI?

The aim is a process that works better for your business. AI can be useful for tasks such as organising notes or preparing a draft, but straightforward software or automation may be all you need. The approach and any checks are agreed with you.

One process. One sensible starting point.

Bring the process.
We'll talk it through.

A free, 30-minute conversation about what happens today, where it gets difficult, and what would make it work better. You don't need a technical brief.

A conversation doesn't commit you to a project. Any paid work is scoped and priced first.
